CORONATION Street bosses have wiped out all traces of sex offender actor Bruno Langley on set after replacing him as Todd Grimshaw.

The disgraced star, 37, was axed from the soap in 2017 after he sexually assaulted two women in a Manchester bar.

Bruno was written out with Todd being sent on the run after assaulting a police officer, but the character is set to return this week with Archers star Gareth Pierce taking the role.

And bosses have made sure there will be no sightings of Bruno on the cobbles by replacing all the old pictures of Todd with snaps of Gareth.

They have even Photoshopped Gareth’s own childhood pictures into images of his on-screen brother Ryan Thomas.

Gareth told HOAR Online: “The on set family photos in the Grimshaws – all the Todd ones are from my childhood but mixed in with Ryan’s as Jason.

“So it oddly feels there’s brotherly connection even though we haven’t met.“

Bruno played Todd in Coronation Street for 16 years before he admitted grabbing the crotches of two women in a nightclub in 2017 after a boozy night out.

He was spared jail but was issued with a 12 month community order, an electronic tag and ordered to stick to a curfew as well as pay compensation to his victims.

Bruno was also ordered to sign the sex offender’s register for five years.

Since being axed from the soap, Bruno has been working as a portrait photographer.

He previously said of his new career: “I’m really happy being creative in this way.

“I’ve been taking time out to catch my breath, reassess what is important to me and to make myself a better person.”
