CORONATION Street fans have taken to social media with the same question on their mind – how does everyone fit in Eileen Grimshaw’s ‘tiny’ home?
On Wednesday evening’s episode, which saw fans share their shock at Stu Carpenter revealing the horrifying truth about Charlie Winter’s murder, viewers also question how everyone slept in Eileen’s home.
Coronation Street fans have aired their thoughts on the amount of people living in Eileen’s home
Eileen lives at her Weatherfield in a house with two bedrooms
It’s not the first time viewers of the hit ITV soap have asked the question, with Eileen herself previously making a joke about the size of her house.
Eileen, played by Sue Cleaver, has lived in what viewers have coined a ‘tiny’ home since 2010 with sons Jason and Todd living in the abode and sometimes various lodgers, including Sean Tully.
Currently, Eileen lives at her Weatherfield home with son Todd and her friends Mary Taylor and Sean Tully.
However it would also appear Eileen’s partner George Shuttleworth is living at her house and Sean’s son Dylan will stay when he’s visiting from London.
Coronation Street viewers have taken to social media to air their confusion at how so many people live in the home, which boasts just two bedrooms.
One person said: “I don’t understand how everyone fits in Eileen’s home?” while another added: “Does Eileen work or is she now a full time landlady of that Tardis?? She would get fined massively for not having a certificate for a House of Multiple Occupancy!”
A third agreed, writing: “You can’t fart in Eileen’s house with out people knowing cos they’re all basically living on top of one another.”
And a fourth person questioned: “How many people live in Eileen’s house may I ask?”
It’s not the first time fans have been left scratching their heads over the occupancy of Eileen’s home.
A couple of years ago viewers noticed five people, including Dylan, Todd, Eileen, Sean and Mary were living in the terraced house.
“How on EARTH are they fitting two more people into Eileen’s sylvanian family sized house??” one commented at the time.
Another joked: “Somebody grass Eileen up please. There must be more than 6 people in that house by now #Corrie.”
Corrie fans joked she would get fined massively for “not having a certificate for a House of Multiple Occupancy”
