CORONATION Street fans have picked holes in Todd Grimshaw’s successful heat pump heist.
Todd was forced to commit the crime to pay off blackmailer Will, who’s threatening to expose Todd’s evil schemes to Billy.
Todd hired the teenager to manipulate Paul and sabotage his relationship with Billy at the end of last year.
Last night’s episode saw Todd decide to steal the £7,000 heat pump that his boyfriend Billy’s church had paid for in order to get Will off his back.
He borrowed the funeral director’s van and snuck into the builder’s yard to steal it.
Despite a close call when Ed burst into the yard before leaving again, Todd managed to get away from the crime.
But fans were adamant that CCTV would realistically have caught him in the act.
One said: “You telling me the builders yard doesn’t have cctv? Come on #corrie.”
Another added: “What happened to the CCTV outside the Builder’s Yard? Which Phelan previously used to blackmail Owen & Gary? #Corrie.”

A third asked: “Is there no CCTV on the street?”
Next week Todd will come to regret his actions as Ed breaks the news to Billy that the insurance won’t pay out for the stolen heat pump.
Todd is horrified when Billy meets up with the bishop and resigns as archdeacon.
Meanwhile, Summer corners Paul and tells him the theft of the heat pump has cost Billy his job.
