CORONATION Street fans fear Peter Barlow will murder surgeon Dr Thorne after he lost his complaint.
The recovering alcoholic – who is played by actor Chris Gascoyne in the ITV soap – was left furious tonight after the surgeon got away with his vile behaviour.
Viewers know Thorne has been betting on the outcomes of his operations, disgusting nurses and others aware of what he’s doing.
Peter was one such patient, and whistleblower Aggie Bailey told him what Thorne had done.
He put a complaint in to the General Medical Council – but tonight he heard back.
Thorne was given a reprimand but no further action was taken, leaving Peter fuming.

Things took an even worse turn when Thorne turned up at the pub to gloat, feigning regret and contrition to Peter.
And then outside Peter overheard him bragging about getting away with his behaviour and lost it.
Demanding the surgeon get out of his car, Peter got increasingly angry and ended up opening up Thorne’s boot and grabbing his golf clubs.
Peter smashed up Thorne’s car and was only stopped when Adam arrived and talk him down.
He had to agree to pay Thorne’s damages – but it was clear that Peter still wants to do serious damage to the man and not just his car.
Although with the intervention of Adam and Carla, Peter agreed to walk away.
But fans don’t think Peter will let it drop – and they are convinced he will try to kill Thorne to get the ultimate revenge.
