CORONATION Street fans have been left terrified for Yasmeen’s well-being after tonight’s cliffhanger saw abusive Geoff refuse to let her leave the house.
The desperate character, played by Shelley King, finally found the strength to try and leave the soap villain – but her plan came to a devastating halt.
Viewers were on tenterhooks this evening as Yasmeen finally discovered that Geoff had been cheating on her with escorts, and he even admitted that he never booked the hotel in Spain for Zeedan’s wedding.
Geoff desperately tried to manipulate his wife as she packed up her bags to leave for the overseas ceremony anyway.
Promising that she will be back in a few days, Yasmeen did admit that she needed time to think about their relationship, sending Geoff into panic mode.
When his usual tactics of manipulation and lying didn’t work, the episode ended as Geoff slammed the front door shut and viciously whispered to Yasmeen that he wouldn’t let her go.
Worried fans flocked to Twitter to share their reaction to the scene, with many sharing their concern for Yasmeen’s welfare.
One wrote: “I can’t cope now, oh Yasmeen – I hope you’re okay. Hurry up Monday night!”
Another tweeted: “Oh nooooo Yasmeen… Don’t you dare touch her Geoff!”

Coronation Street’s coercive control storyline has received a huge response from fans, with several reporting the ITV soap to Ofcom for the upsetting scenes.
Last month, viewers were left horrified when Geoff forced Yasmeen to eat from the floor before sleeping with a prostitute.
Previously, he killed and cooked his wife’s pet chicken – making her eat it before revealing that it was her beloved Charlotte.
