Coronation Street fans fear the worst after Daniel Osbourne makes fatal mistake

CORONATION Street fans are fearing the worst after Daniel Osbourne made a potentially fatal mistake tonight.

The teacher – who is played by actor Rob Mallard in the ITV soap – finally snapped after his fiance Daisy’s stalker Justin broke into their home to terrorise her.

With the police doing nothing, Daisy was terrified and Daniel furious.

But after confiding in Peter about what has been going on, Daniel was horrified to spot Justin looking through the windows of the Rovers even after he was warned off.

“I don’t believe it, he’s back, hold my chips,” he said storming over to Justin and shouting: “Oi what is your problem?”

Peter dragged him around the corner before Daniel jumped in.

“Shut up and listen to me,” he shouted. “Stay away from Daisy, I’m warning you.”

But while Justin insisted he couldn’t because they love each other, his delusions became clear.

“She doesn’t love you,” Daniel told him.

“She’s scared of you because you won’t leave her alone. You repulse her.”

Justin said: “You’re lying, I know what I felt the first time we spoke when she put her hand on me. I know that we’re meant to be together.”

Furious, Daniel told him: “She talked to you because she felt sorry for you.

“Because your mum was dying of cancer and she thought she might have it too.”

Unwilling to face the truth, Justin snarled: “She’d have been better off having cancer than having to waste her time with someone like you.”

With that and memories of Daisy’s cancer scare and his late wife Sinead’s death ringing in his mind, Daniel punched Justin.

And punched him again leaving fans cheering – but also fearing that he has ruined Daisy’s chance of getting the stalker done by the book.

One wrote: ” Why is this man not getting stopped by police?”

A second said: “At this point I would just knock Justin the f*** out.”

Another added: “What an absolute freak!”
