CORONATION Street fans are sickened after rapist Josh Tucker framed David Platt for his stabbing – despite the hairdresser saving his life.
The vile abuser – who is played by actor Ryan Clayton in the ITV soap – was saved from certain death by David during a prison riot organised to let David kill him.
Viewers know Josh drugged and raped David two years ago in a harrowing storyline on the soap.
David recently came face to face with his abuser after he raped another man but police took action and arrested him, landing him in prison.
And despite having the chance to kill Josh, David chose instead to save him from the growing mob during the riot.
However, Josh did end up getting stabbed by two of the other inmates who took revenge on David’s behalf – unintentionally landing David in court charged with the attack.
But after being left in a coma from his injuries, Josh woke up in last night’s episode.
Instead of telling the truth about what happened, he decided to lie and claim David had stabbed him putting an end to David’s hopes of freedom.
It left viewers sickened with one writing: “I really hate that Josh is lying that David tried to kill him!! #CoronationStreet #Corrie @itvcorrie”
A second said: “Never thought they could make Josh any more unlikeable…then they had him blame his attempted murder on the innocent David Platt. What the hell, Josh?!?
