What’s Geoff’s next evil plan in Coronation Street?

Geoff tries to arrange a prison visit to terrorise Yasmeen

With everyone on the cobbles turning against him, official spoilers have revealed that a desperate Geoff will apply for a prison visit to see Yasmeen next week on the soap.

Geoff also returns to work at Speed Daal – much to Alya’s dismay.

When Alya gets a call from Imran, Geoff listens in and overhears Alya saying she’s expecting a call from Yasmeen in the afternoon.

Spotting an opportunity to take back control, Geoff sneakily steals Alya’s phone while she’s not looking and receives the call from Yasmeen.

At the other end of the line, Yasmeen is horrified to hear her abuser’s voice.

But what will Geoff say – and will he scare her into keeping quiet?

Will Tim turn against Geoff in Corrie?

Viewers know that Tim witnessed a string of suspicious events ahead of Yasmeen’s arrest that should have alerted him to Geoff’s abuse.

But with Geoff having abused Tim’s mum and manipulated his son for most of his life, it seems Tim has learned to turn a blind eye to his dad’s behaviour.

But it looks like the tide could be about to turn next week as Sally visits Yasmeen in prison after Alya asks her to be a witness for the defence.

Sally is stunned and saddened by the tales of Geoff’s abuse, and challenges the brute when she gets home.

Tim is shocked when he walks in to find his dad raging and Sally looking terrified.

Has Geoff revealed his true colours to his son?

Fans will be relieved to hear that Joe Duttine, who plays Tim on the ITV soap, has admitted that his character may start to doubt his dad’s innocence in the coming weeks.

Speaking to TV Times, he said: “At this stage, he wants to believe his dad – how could this man he has loved all his life do such a thing?

“I think the more evidence that is stacked against Geoff from people Tim trusts, the more Tim might turn. [Tim] might be a bit gullible, but he’s not stupid.”

Corrie fans think Tim will blab about Geoff’s camera footage and drop him in it

Will the police find Geoff’s camera footage in Corrie?

Geoff appeared to dodge a bullet when he managed to retrieve the hidden camera and delete the footage on his laptop showing him attacking Yasmeen with a knife – evidence proving her innocence.

But fans are clinging to the hope that the police will be able to recover the deleted footage.

Viewers were baffled when Tim walked in on Geoff deleting footage from his laptop of his final argument with Yasmeen – and didn’t say a word.

But fans think Tim might let slip about the footage to the police in an attempt to prove Geoff’s innocence – and drop his dad in it in the process.

One fan tweeted: “The police can still prosecute @itvcorrie Tim will tell about the camera thinking he is helping Geoff #Corrie.”

Another added: “I thought the police took Geoff’s mobile phone and surely with forensics in the house they would have seen the camera and laptop #Corrie.”

Soap boss Ian MacLeod previously confirmed that Geoff will meet his downfall later in the year but, with Corrie yet to give details, fans will have to tune in to find out whether his fall will have anything to do with the camera footage.
