Curly will mostly be remembered by fans of the show for his inability to find himself a successful long-term relationship.

But these days he looks completely different from his character’s iconic straight, lank hair after a transformation for his latest role as Captain Hook in a pantomime production of Peter Pan.

Sporting a long black curly wig complete with a traditional pirate’s hat.

Sharing an image of his look for the show, a stern looking Kevin joked: “I hate Peter Pan.”

He also shared another image of his full outfit with his hook for a hand prop on full display.

He smiled in the dimly-lit image which he captioned: “Being a bad hook!”

Kevin has appeared in a handful of roles since his stint on the programme including on the West End stage and guest stints in a number of TV shows.

In 2010, he appeared in the West End production of the Queen musical We Will Rock You playing the role of hippie Pop after appearing in the UK tour the previous year.

One of his latest screen roles was that of playing Clyde, a Christmas angel in the 2019 special of comedy Mrs. Brown’s Boys.
