And Adam’s wife Sarah – who’s also Gary’s ex – is set to cotton onto Gary’s murderous antics and even find proof he killed Nick this week on the soap.

Adam fumes when Sarah doesn’t tell him that Gary has dropped the factory rent increase

Next week’s episodes of Coronation Street will see Sarah visit Gary and quiz him about Rick Neelan’s murder.

Gary begs her not to tell Adam the truth, claiming that he’ll use it to destroy him.

Later, the police question Sarah about Gary’s accident and ask why she called 999 before the accident happened.

Sarah panics but manages to wriggle her way out of their questions.

Later, Gary discharges himself from hospital and writes three letters for Maria, Izzy and Nicola.

Meanwhile, Adam’s suspicious are aroused when Bernie tells him about the watch she found in the woods.

Later in the week, Gary announces that he’s decided not to increase the rent on the factory.

Sarah has her suspicions but Gary insists it isn’t a bribe.

As news of Gary’s change of heart about the factory rent spreads, a number of Weatherfield residents are left questioning his antics.

When Maria learns the news she’s immediately worried something is going on between Sarah and Gary.

But when she asks Gary if he’s still in love with Sarah, he assures her that he was just trying to take the pressure off Nick who’s grieving for Oliver.

Later, Peter lets slip to Adam about the factory rent.

But when Adam quizzes Sarah about her day hoping she’ll mention Gary, he’s irritated when she doesn’t mention him at all.

Will Adam squeeze the truth out of Sarah?
