CARLA Connor takes over from Nick Tilsley as the boss of Underworld next week in Coronation Street.
Her new role comes as Gary Windass ups the factory’s rent to pay off Rick Neelan’s ex Laura.

Corrie viewers know that Gary has got himself into quite a pickle after deciding to take on responsibility for Rick’s daughter Kelly after murdering him in the woods last year.
Gary has already been paying Kelly’s school fees but disaster strikes this week in Corrie when Kelly’s mum Laura threatens to call the police if Rick doesn’t send her more cash.
Next week’s episodes of Corrie will see Carla rock up at the factory and tell Nick that she’s bored of pulling pints.
Gary calls in and announces he’s upping the rent – much to Sarah’s dismay.
Sarah mentions Gary’s rent demands to Adam, who starts to put two and two together.
When he returns later to discuss his new rent demands, Adam tells him it’s obvious he’s up to something dodgy.
Adam then does some digging and gets Laura to spill the beans on how she gets cash from Nick.
And when she shows him the key to her safety deposit box, he secretly takes a picture of it on his phone.
Later in the week, Carla announces that Nick has asked her to step in while he takes some time off to look after Oliver.
The new boss casts her eye over the new lease and tells Sarah to leave Gary to her.
