CORONATION Street’s David Platt is left devastated when the doctors remove his wife Shona’s breathing tube after she’s shot on Christmas Day.

The cursed hairdresser – who has already watched his first wife stabbed to death – begs doctors to keep her alive, but he’s told she must breathe on her own.
