CORRIE fans are all saying the same thing after it was revealed that both Will Mellor and Kym Marsh are set to take part in this year’s series of Strictly Come Dancing.
The Coronation Street stars will join up with Strictly in September, and have expressed their excitement to get their training underway.
“I’m nervous but I’m really looking forward to it,” Marsh told BBC Breakfast on this morning.
“It’s been a long time since I’ve been on stage, performing in that kind of way, so it’s going to be really tricky, but I’m up for the challenge,” she added.
Mellor is equally “chuffed” to be taking part in the hit show.
When asked if he can dance well, the soap star told the BBC: “It depends what you call well. I dance in the kitchen or at parties like anybody does, but nothing at all like I’m doing here, I’m way out of my comfort zone.”
He added: “My mindset completely changed a while back, and I just thought, I’ve got to start doing things that frighten me.
“I lost my dad in 2020 and from then I just thought, I’ve just got to grab life. I’ve got to create new memories.”
Soap fans are extremely excited to see the two show off their dancing skills.
