FAYE Windass is ready to build a family following the shock of her first failed pregnancy.
However, Craig Tinker has a shocking announcement for her next week in Coronation Street as he doesn’t feel the same.
As she desperately tries to get her life back on track following her stay in prison, Faye (portrayed by actress Ellie Leach) decides she can have her own family, although she is still walking on eggshells.
In recent episodes, Faye found out she was pregnant and was over the moon when her partner Craig (Colson Smith) told her he was ready to step up to the plate.
Unfortunately, the couple later received some distressing news and are now left in grief.
Coming up, Faye remains determined to embrace motherhood as soon as possible.

While in the Underworld factory, she shows Craig a fertility app she downloaded on her phone to prove it.
Yet Craig doesn’t feel as settled in this choice as Faye and confides in his mother Beth (Lisa George) that he believes it’s too soon – but he doesn’t have the heart to break the news to Faye.
But Beth won’t be holding her tongue.
Unable to keep this a secret, she tells Faye that Craig isn’t ready for a baby, leaving her shocked beyond words.
Could this be another cause for arguments between Faye and Craig?
In recent months, the pair have been at loggerheads after Faye confessed to being involved in Ted Spear’s death.
She ran over the frail pensioner alongside Emma Brooker and he died of a blood clot resulting from the accident in January, 2022.
When she confessed, Craig took it upon himself to leave the police force in a bid to protect Faye and Emma and secured a job as a packer at the Underworld factory.
However, he soon realised he wasn’t happy and resented Faye for his sudden change in career.
Craig took the steps to get his position of police constable back when he found out Faye was pregnant.
Emma’s relationship with Jon Spear – Ted’s grandson – is also set to spark some conflict.
