KEN Barlow stands in the way of Ray Crosby’s bulldozer during Coronation Street’s anniversary episodes next month.
Ray – who is played by Mark Frost in the ITV soap – is on a mission to demolish the whole street and redevelop it into flats.

Ray has been keeping his evil plan under wraps but Abi will discover what he’s up to next week and alert her friends and family.
Next month’s anniversary scenes will see Ken reveal to Debbie that the residents are planning on lodging an application that afternoon to have the brewery listed as an historical building and stop it from being bulldozed.
Debbie, who’s secretly working for Ray, runs to him and reveals the residents’ plans to prevent the bulldozing.
Ray decides to knock it down sharply before the residents have a chance to lodge their application.
But as they watch a bulldozer head towards the brewery and see Ray looking smug, they set up camp in front of the brewery and Rita leads them in a rendition of ‘We Shall not be Moved.’
Can Ray be stopped?
The next morning, the residents celebrate stalling Ray by sleeping outside the brewery.
But they’re horrified when a huge long-arm digger rears its head and Ray’s men start to dismantle their camp.
Ken stands in the bulldozer’s path refusing to move while Abi jumps into the cab of a digger.
But disaster strikes when Abi loses control of the long arm, which smashes down on a substation and knocks everyone’s power out.
Kevin wonders how Ray got wind of their plans.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk about his character Ray’s evil plan, actor Mark Frost said: “I think he does see himself an empire builder, so he is looking to purchase property and get his business to grow exponentially.
“I think what’s going to come as a surprise is just what means he’s willing to go to — what lengths he’s willing to go to — to get his plans put his plans in place, and the odds that’s going to put him at with the rest of the Weatherfield community.”
Talking about why his character wants to destroy the cobbles, Mark added: “He’s got no familial links. He sees people and communities as pawns.
“I think to a certain extent there is that breed of property developer, who in order to get plans drawn up and disband communities, they can’t surely look at people as individuals and human beings.
