CORONATION Street legends Ken Barlow and Norris Cole plan the great escape from their retirement complex as the former shop owner returns to reveal it’s a scam.

Ken and Claudia got a warm welcome from fellow resident Charles Lake but Norris – who’s moved into Still Waters – drops the shock bombshell that he’s ripping everyone off.

Norris begs Ken to help him escape from the retirement home

Corrie viewers were devastated when soap legend Ken Barlow announced he was selling up and moving into a retirement complex called Still Waters.

In this week’s episodes of Corrie, viewers will see Ken and Claudia move into the retirement complex and receive a warm welcome from fellow resident, Charles Lake.

But next week’s episodes will reveal not all is as it seems.

There’s something fishy about fellow resident Charles Lake

Next week viewers will see Ken buzzing to discover that there’s a Literary Society talk happening that evening.

When Felicity laments that Roger has had to pull out leaving the event at risk of being cancelled, Claudia suggests Ken could take over the talk.

Ken loves the idea and later takes to the stage to read out one of his short stories.

But when Felicity asks for questions from the audience, Ken’s lost for words to see that the first hand up is from Norris Cole.

Norris later reveals to old friend Ken that he and Freda moved into Still Waters weeks ago.

Then, making sure Freda can’t hear, he tells Ken that he can’t stand it and needs his help to escape.

He insists that there’s something ominous about the retirement home and that he needs Ken’s help to convince Freda to leave.

Norris then drops the bombshell that Charles is ripping off the retirement home residents but Freda won’t believe it.

Will Ken and Norris team together to plan the great escape?
