Lynn posted a mirror selfie in a large red trench coat with her dressing room as the backdrop.

She smiled at the camera with her brown hair swept back, and penned: “And just like that, Karen’s off.

“Bye @coronationstreet it’s been amazing!!”

Lynn’s character Karen returned to the cobbles recently, with a cunning plan in mind.

She arrived in Weatherfield on the eve of her brother Justin Rutherford’s trial for the acid attack.

Ryan Connor and Daisy Midgely finally got justice this week, as stalker Justin was found guilty for his acid attack.

Both Daisy and Ryan took to the stand to expose the harsh realities of the aftermath of Justin’s cruel attack, including the physical and mental scarring.

But when the pair were cross examined, they were accused of conjuring up an acid attack on Justin, suggesting Ryan spilt the acid on himself instead by accident.

Justin’s sister also tried to find dirt on Daisy that will help her brother look innocent and led on by her.

These lies left viewers wondering what the jury’s verdict would be, but fortunately Justin was found guilty.

Justin was led away by officers and would be sentenced at a later date.

As he was taken away Justin shouted to Daisy that he still loves her and thinks they will see each other again.

Viewers were thrilled to see Justin finally get the verdict he deserves.

Taking to Twitter, one said: “WAHEYYY! Right trial result Justin has been found guilty.”
