KIMBERLY Hart-Simpson has revealed she manifested her return to Coronation Street.
The actress – who plays sex worker Nicky Wheatley on the ITV soap – has told how she used a vision board to bring herself back to the soap.
She first joined the soap in 2020 for a three month stint.
Playing prostitute Nicky who struck up a relationship with grieving widower Daniel Osbourne, Kimberly became a fan favourite.
Daniel gave Nicky money so she could quit sex work and make a new life for herself and her daughter far away from Weatherfield.
HOAR exclusively revealed her comeback last year – and now it is happening next week.
And actress Kimberly has told how she made it happen with a vision board within hours of deciding she wanted to return.
She said: “Well this isn’t for everyone but I like vision boards, the things I like in my life I want to see on the daily, it gives me direction and purpose.
“And on the day that I got the call for Corrie I had made a vision board including the 10 things that I wanted in my life at that time, and Corrie went back on there.
“I pin it up, write the reason, and how it would feel, how the call would go and who I would tell first.
“This is part of something I have read online and within two hours I got the call to ask if I wanted to go back.
“Whether that was the power of the board I don’t know, but for me it solidified the decision and made no secret of the fact this is where I want to be in life.

“I love being on Corrie, it is the best job I have had and I always felt like it wasn’t a full stop, it was a semicolon and am back now to do the other part.”
The storyline will see Nicky return for a teaching assistant job at Weatherfield High.

And Kimberly was blown away by her comeback storyline, saying: “I was thinking about ways I would come back in, and as a teaching assistant was the last thing I was thinking of!
“But when I thought about it, it totally makes sense. You have got this young cast with all these great storylines and so of course it is amazing that I am part of that.
“I think people thought it might be her coming back with a baby in tow, but this is outside of the box and so when I heard I thought it was so good. It is unexpected.”
