He also showed off a neck inking – but revealed they were in fact fake

Luke rocked a tear drop tattoo on his left cheek and symbols along his neck.

He proudly showed off the design but revealed that they were in fact fake and were for a new TV role.

Wearing a black beanie hat, a grey hoodie and a denim jacket, the hunky actor wrote: “Tired eyes, must be Friday.

“Tear drop tattoo is fake guys, don’t worry.”

He then shared a close-up snap of his neck, which revealed more fake tatts and said: “So are these. Always playing the villain aren’t I.”

His Corrie character played a major part in Max Turner being radicalised into a far right extremist group.

At the time the actor said he is “delighted” to be joining the soap.

He previously played a police officer in the BBC historical drama Peaky Blinders opposite Cillian Murphy.

And Luke also has history of being a soap villain having kidnapped Maxine Minniver in Hollyoaks last year.

Other credits to the TV star’s name include Netflix’s Stay Close, Emmerdale and C4’s Cucumber.

Teenager Max Turner – who is played by actor Paddy Bever – found himself targeted by a gang of extremists ultimately putting his own life and that of his friends and family in danger.

The wayward teen played by Paddy Bever could do nothing when faced with Griff’s manipulative tactics.

In a short amount of time, the lad was enticed into Griff’s activist group, using his video editing skills to help them spread their racist views throughout Weatherfield.

But things took a turn when Griff and his gang planted a bomb in the cobbles as Maria Connor’s Peace Market was underway.

It’s since become clear that Max will also have to endure the consequences, although he was groomed by Griff.

Initially arrested for incitement to murder in recent Corrie scenes, Max’s charges are escalated to Encouragement of Terrorism due to his propaganda videos.

It also comes after thug Blake – who is played by actor Adam Little in the ITV soap – stabbed Alya Nazir as part of a terror attack on the refugee drop in centre launch.

Blake livestreamed the event as Alya introduced Maria and she welcomed people to the refugee drop in centre.

Max ran out of his house and fled to Speed Daal to try and stop Blake – but as he ran in searching for Blake, Gary grabbed him and stopped him.

Max begged him to listen but Gary grabbed him and refused to listen, leaving Blake a chance to attack Maria.

But as he ran at her, Alya got in the way and ended up getting stabbed herself.
