CORONATION Street fans were all left saying the same thing about Gary Windass in tonight’s episode.

Its been a tense time on the street lately following the wicked bomb plot devised by Griff Reynolds and his cronies.

Gary fumed at Max

He let his feelings be known

The residents of the street were still trying to enjoy the Weatherfield markets as much as they could during tonight’s episode but things quickly turned when Max Turner was released from the police station and was heading back to his home.

Walking through the markets alongside dad David, Max faced animosity particularly from Maria Connor and Gary Windass.

After some snide comments from his neighbours, a sheepish Max declared: “I haven’t done anything wrong.”

Gary and Maria laughed before Alya arrived and attempted to diffuse the situation.

She insisted it wasn’t entirely Max’s fault before Daryan added: “And he saved a lot of lives.”

Gary furiously jumped in to add: “Yeah, that wouldn’t have been in danger in the first place if it wasn’t for the likes of him.”

But fans did not take too favourably to Gary’s outburst at Max considering he has committed multiple murders and been mixed up in many dodgy dealings over the years.

Taking to Twitter, one fan said of Gary: “Gary the murderer giving Max grief, #coronationstreet is absolutetly sh**e now.”

Another added: “One rule for Gary – another for everyone else!”

A third penned: “Gary Windass saying he wants Max to move away, like Gary’s not a murderer!”

It soon became clear that Gary wouldnt be forgetting Max’s actions anytime soon as Alya attempted to look past it and claimed he has just ‘got mixed up in the wrong crowd’.

Gary was not happy

Max had to deal with everyone’s opinions
