CORONATION Street viewers were left double-taking after they spotted something very strange in Dev’s corner shop.

The latest episode of the long-running ITV soap aired last night as viewers watched the latest drama from the cobbles.

Corrie viewers were left double-taking over a recent blunder

David Platt appeared to be buying a pack of two Garlic and Herb Chicken Kievs for dinner

As Evelyn Plummer was scanning the pack, she lifted it up and accidentally revealed they were from Aldi

However, they’ve spotted a huge error by producers in one of the scenes.

Jack P Shepherd‘s character David Platt visited Dev Alahan’s corner shop for groceries.

He appeared to be buying a pack of two Garlic and Herb Chicken Kievs for dinner.

As Evelyn Plummer was scanning the pack, she lifted it up and accidentally revealed they were from Aldi.

The German discount supermarket’s logo was visible to fans at home who noticed the blunder.

Poking fun at the mistake, Coronation Street viewers took to social media.

One fan said: “Not Coronation Street selling Aldi Chicken Kievs in Dev’s shop.

“Thought their product placement deal was with Co-Op.”

Another soap watcher said: “I noticed this as well.”

”Bet he’s selling cans from a multipack separately as well,” commented a third viewer.

While a fourth joked: ”Maybe it was in a good to go magic bag.”

Coronation Street airs on ITV1 and ITVX.
