FORMER Coronation Street star Bhavna Limbachia has stunned fans by revealing she has filmed a movie during lockdown with Hollywood star Kelsey Grammer.

The actress – who played Rana Habeeb in the ITV soap – took to Instagram with a selfie of her and the Frasier star on the final day of shooting their film.

Bhavna wrapped filming this week on the film

She captioned the snap: “An absolute joy working with @mrkelseygrammer 💫

“So grateful to have been working during these uncertain times 🙏🏽

“The film & TV industry are slowly getting back on their feet, lets hope the same will follow for Theatre 🙏🏽 #covid19 #lockdown #film #tv #theatre”

Miss Willoughby and the Haunted Bookshop also stars Caroline Quinten, Tara Fitzgerald and Nathalie Cox.

Rana died in wife Kate’s arms in the factory in 2019

It filmed over four weeks in York and is a mystery and suspense film.

Kelsey told Variety: “This has been a terrific experience.

“Although COVID presented a new set of challenges, we were able to work very effectively through new standards of film production.

“I would urge my family of actors at SAG-AFTRA to take a page out of the British playbook; we can responsibly get back to work.

“I have nothing but high praise for everyone associated with this production, from the director Brad Watson to the costume, make-up and hair folks to the young people who are just getting started in this marvellous profession.”

Bhavna’s Coronation Street character Rana died in 2019 on her wedding day when Underworld’s roof collapsed on top of her.

The man responsible for her death, Gary Windass, has still not been brought to justice or exposed for his crimes.
