CORONATION Street fans are convinced that Sally will expose evil Geoff as it it appears she’s starting to see through his web of lies

Sally, played by Sally Dynevor, has started to act suspiciously around her father-in-law and it looks like she could be on to him.

Sally told Tim she is starting to doubt Geoff on Coronation Street

As we know, his wife Yasmeen is currently awaiting trial for attacking him – even though she was only trying to defend herself.

But last night it all kicked off when Geoff (Ian Bartholomew) and son Tim (Joe Duttine) returned from the hospital and tried to unlock the front door to number six.

Corrie fans will remember that Alya (Sair Khan) changed the locks on Yasmeen’s house to keep Geoff out, after her grandmother was refused bail.

So when Geoff and Tim turned up, she refused to let them into the house, saying that he had been of “tormenting” her grandmother behind closed doors.

But while Tim was quick to jump to his father’s defence, Sally was left on the fence, as she listened to Alya’s point of view.

This caused an arguement btween Sally and Tim, with the former saying she was starting to see through Geoff’s “nice guy” act.

This caused a storm on Twitter amongst Corrie fans, with one tweeting: “Sally can see right through you Geoff.”

Another said: “Geoff trying to poison Sally when she knows something.”

While this fan added: “Look at Sally – the doubt is creeping in.”

Another commented: ‘Sally knows!”

It comes as actor Iain Bartholomew, who plays Geoff, hinted that the monster may not get the ending he truly deserves following months of torment.

When asked if show bosses have an obligation to give Geoff his comeuppance, Ian explained to What’s On TV: “No I don’t, actually.

“It would be very satisfying for Geoff to get his comeuppance, and in a way this is a morality tale, and when things like that happen on TV, we want good outcomes.”

He went on: “But life isn’t always like that.

“So when I say, ‘No, I don’t want him to get his comeuppance,’ well yes of course I do and, in one way or another, he will – although I’m not going to say how or when.”

  • Coronation Street continues Monday at 7.30pm on ITV.
