CORONATION Street’s Catherine Tyldesley left embarrassed as she spotted people having sex down a country lane when trying to meditate.

The actress, 37, got an eyeful when she turned up to one of her appointments a bit early.

Catherine was left embarrassed as people had sex in the car in front of her

To kill some time, Catherine turned down a country lane to meditate and eat her lunch.

But what she saw put her off both – as the car in front of her were having sex.

Speaking on her Instagram Story, the star said: “I am a bit mortified but I have to share. It would only happen to me.

“So I’m a bit early for an appointment, I just turned off down a country lane. I thought, I’ll have minutes meditation, I’ll have my lunch.

However, she was interrupted by the adult cuddle

“There’s a car parked a bit further down and I was squinting thinking, I’m sure I can see movement in that car. There’s more than movement.

“The car in front are having a casual adult cuddles at lunchtime. And I’m just sat here having a gander with my chicken pitta. This would only happen to me. He’s going for gold there babes, I can’t bear it.”

Later on in the day, the former Corrie star added: “Guys, brilliant response to my last Story, you’re killing me. My favourite was @auntiecath17 why didn’t you join in?

“Not that I’ve joined in anyway, but it was not pretty. It was putting me right off my chicken pita to be honest. Some people are quite… bendy. There’s a bit of leeway in the joints.

The actress got more than she bargained for

“They weren’t bendy, they looked a bit cumbersome. They looked like they probably sustained head injuries.

“If you’re going to do it in a car, either borrow a bigger car or limber up first. It looked all kinds of awkward.”

Catherine hasn’t had the best of luck work-wise as production on her new drama Viewpoint shut down production last month after a crew member tested positive for coronavirus.

The drama had only resumed filming earlier this month and had social distancing measures in place, however, a member of the production tested positive for Covid-19.

While it is not clear if the person was a crew member or actor, it meant show bosses had to take the decision to suspend filming in Manchester.

A spokesperson confirmed the halt in production, telling MailOnline: “There are specific protocols in place for this eventuality which have been implemented and, as a result, filming has recommenced.”

The series stars Catherine, former Hollyoaks actress Bronagh Waugh and Noel Clarke and centres around a police surveillance operation.
