Another said: “Good on you for speaking out. I do too and you’ve inspired me to say it out loud.”

And he revealed that going bald affected his mental health so badly that he thought about bringing down the curtain on his on his career.

He explained: ““I decided to get it done as it was affecting my mental health. To the point where I considered giving up acting and not being in the public eye.

“I know some people will say that I am being incredibly vain having a second hair transplant so quickly after the first one.

“All I can say to that was that I needed to do it for my long-term mental well-being.”

The actor is best known for playing David Platt on Coronation Street

Jack decided to undergo two hair transplants within a year and revealed the impressive results in before and after pictures.

The soap star revealed: “I had to do it for my own personal happiness – losing your hair is devastating.”

He added: “I have been through all sorts of traumas on-screen in Corrie but going bald really hit me for six. I’m so glad I have got it sorted.

“I have been suffering from quite rapid hair loss similar to Wayne Rooney and I knew that the only way I was going to get it sorted was with another operation.

The actor previously shared his hair loss journey with fans

“I really hope that this will fix the problem for good because, as an actor, it is vital that I keep hold of my hair.”

Jack – now dating ITV worker Hanni Treweek – first addressed his hair loss trauma in August 2018 when he hit back at a Twitter troll.

The individual wrote: “‘CoronationStreet wtf has david platt done to his hair? Looks like roadkill stuck to his head. T***”.

Jack replied: “Hi, my hair has started to fall out because I went through a break up with my girlfriend of 15 years last year. And was very stressed. I’m sorry Gary.”

The star feared losing his hair would cost him his job

Jack and Lauren – who have two children – split in October 2017.

And he later had more than 3,000 hairs implanted into the front of his scalp after suffering the dramatic hair loss due to the off-screen pressures and insomnia.

The soap star said soon after the transplant: ”It is such a common thing for guys to have now – like a male version of the boob job.

”I decided to have it done because my hair loss has really escalated in the last year, particularly at the front of my scalp.

The actor is in a relationship with ITV worker Hanni Treweek

”I remember seeing myself on screen and thinking ‘oh my god, it is really falling out.’

“One of my mates had a transplant and he looked so much better afterwards that I didn’t recognise him. I was blown away by the improvement and he told me he wished he had done it earlier.”
