DANCING On Ice’s Joe-Warren Plant and Vanessa Bauer appear close as they’re spotted leaving training together after romance rumours.
The Emmerdale actor, 18, admitted last month that “chemistry” with his professional skate partner led to his split from his girlfriend Nicole Hadlow.
Joe and Vanessa, 24, looked cosy and happy as they left the training skate rink together as they got ready for another round of Dancing On Ice this weekend.
Dressed warmly in a thick puffer jacket and black leggings, Vanessa beamed as she walked beside her celebrity partner.
Joe looked equally content as he strolled next to her, bundled up in an oversized white hoody, black trousers and jacket.
The actor, who plays Jacob Gallagher in the ITV soap, added a pop of colour by wearing red trainers
Joe and Vanessa have incredible chemistry together both on and off the ice, something that the soap star has admitted led to him splitting from girlfriend Nicole in December.
After reports he had got close with the pro skater, 24, Joe and Nicole broke up after three years together.
Joe admitted there was “chemistry” with his partner, which led to people assuming there was something going on.
“With Dancing On Ice, it is about telling a story, to be engaged with the audience and the judges. So you have to have a certain level of chemistry between you and your partner,” he told the Mail Online.
“Everybody has seen that we’re getting on so well and automatically assumed that something is going on but there isn’t and we’re just dedicated to the show and trying to do as best as we possibly can.
“Vanessa has always been in the finals and she’s very driven and competitive so we work well on that together.
“I’m competitive as well, we’re just going to do our absolute best.”
HOAR revealed the pair had separated after Nicole felt Joe wanted the show more than her.
The Jacob Gallagher actor told us that the show is good for him as he’s using it to take his mind off the break up.
“Dancing on Ice has come at a good time for me physically and mentally,” said Joe, ahead of the show launch.
“Relationships are hard to kind of deal with. It has helped to take my mind off of it slightly, having to focus and train all day every day.
“Even when you’re not training and you’re at home you’ve got to take the recovery aspect into terms.
“It’s helped taking my mind off it, but things are still tough to be fair.
“I’m just focusing on getting the show started and then getting into the swing of things.”
Joe had dated 24-year-old Nicole for three years.
He’s since moved into his mum’s home in Blackpool after his tough training schedule with Vanessa put pressure on his relationship.
