DARREN Day has revealed he’s engaged for the sixth time – one year on from splitting from his Emmerdale star wife Steph Dooley.
The notorious womaniser, 52, shared snaps of girlfriend Sophie Ladds wearing a stunning diamond ring to share the happy news with fans.
The Celebrity Big Brother star said: “Spot the difference! My girl @SophieLadds & I just got engaged. She rocks my world.”
Sophie added: “DarrenDOfficial you have made me the happiest girl in the world. Always…forever…and a Sophie Day.”
Darren was voted Britain’s No1 Love Rat for seven years from 1999-2006.
He once proposed to actress Anna Friel, but gave the £30,000 engagement ring to Corrie star Tracy Shaw after they split — before dumping her for Isla Fisher.
The former Hollyoaks actor went on date dancer Adele Vellacott, with the pair becoming engaged.
But eight months later it emerged that he enjoyed a fling with Hear’Say singer Suzanne Shaw who he also popped the question to.
Darren walked out on her and their three-month-old son in 2005.
He wed Steph two years later.
They announced their split in August 2019 after 12 years of marriage. They have two children.
Last week he appeared on Loose Women revealing he has been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder in lockdown.
