EASTENDERS actor Aidan O’Callaghan looks unrecognisable in a blood-soaked new movie role.

The Irish actor, 33, who played Ben Mitchell’s evil rapist Lewis in the BBC soap, shared a first look at his violent new film.

Aidan shared this bloodied snap of him filming his gritty new movie

Aidan wrote on instagram: “Final block of ‘The Reckoning of Erin Morrigan’ feature film this week. Can’t help but draw similarities to a previous job 🤪😝🤪😝

The accompanying snap showed Aidan kneeling on the floor in a field, his face covered in blood and his shirt stained red from his injuries.

Behind him stand three actors, two male and one female, pointing guns at him.

The tagline for the movie reads: “A former IRA operative faces the ghosts of her past in a final reckoning.”

One follower commented on the bloody snap: “For such a lovely guy, you just keep rubbing people up the wrong way! 😜

“You’ve been in the wars recently lad,” pointed out another.

A third joked: “So much healthier to be shot in the open air, though?”

Aidan made his screen debut in the film Somatic in 2016, before going on to appear in Emmerdale before making his way to Albert Square.

As the manager of the Prince Albert, he struck up a friendship with a vulnerable Ben Mitchell, but things soon turned very dark.

He raped Ben during a night of drinking, forcing the poor lad’s world to collapse.

Ben eventually faced off with his attacker after Phil kidnapped him with the intention of killing him.

But when Ben was handed the gun, he decided to do the right thing and hand Lewis into the police instead.
