How will Big Mo leave Eastenders?
It’s not yet known when Laila’s latest departure will air – or what her exit storyline will entail.
But with her granddaughter Kat Slater’s ex Kush Kazemi determined to take the fall for the Mitchell’s disastrous robbery which the Slaters played a huge part in, might Mo’s exit have something to do with this?
Next week, Kat will play with fire when she warns Sharon she could do better than her ex Phil.
Will she grow to regret crossing the Walford hardman?
Is Laila Morse leaving EastEnders for good?
The Daily Star has claimed that Laila’s contract is coming to an end and that her exit will be final.
A source told the publication: “Laila is leaving the show.
“Her current contract is coming to an end and execs agreed this was a good time to write her out.
The source added: “It hasn’t been decided how Big Mo will leave.
“But it is unlikely to be too explosive and she definitely won’t die.”
But HOAR understands that actress Laila’s exit will only be temporary.
An EastEnders spokeswoman told HOAR: “Just like many occasions before, Big Mo will be departing Walford but as always she’ll no doubt be back in the not too distant future”.
EastEnders fans were gutted to hear Mo is departing from the Square.
One tweeted: “Gutted Big Mo is leaving Eastenders.”
Another added: “Big Mo is leaving #EastEnders.”
A third chimed in: “No doubt she’ll be back at some point along the line!”
Will Laila Morse return to Eastenders?
Big Mo’s departure is expected to be temporary, with Laila returning to the soap one day.
A temporary exit is nothing new for the star, who has had a number of breaks over the years.
EastEnders fans will remember that Big Mo last returned in March 2018 with her granddaughter Kat in tow.
