DANNY Dyer appeared downcast as he paid a visit to his daughter Dani today – after her boyfriend Sammy Kimmence was sent to jail for 42 months.
The former Love Island winner dumped her jailbird boyfriend after he was caged for three and a half years for conning OAPs out of £34,000 – and her hardman dad is said to be “relieved” it’s over.
The doting dad, 43, was seen driving over to Dani’s new pad, where she now lives with son Santiago alone.
Danny – who plays Mick Carter in EastEnders– failed to raise a smile as he offered her support during such a difficult time.
His daughter, 24, and crooked Sammy, 25, welcomed their son Santiago in January.
Dani previously stood by her man after he convinced her that his crimes were “not that serious”.
But she has since made the brave decision to go it alone as a single mum – and her family are fully supporting her.
“Dani’s dad Danny and her whole family are relieved she’s walked away,” a source told OK!.
“They think this is for the best. They’ve told her she’ll never be alone as a single mum as they’ll always help her to raise Santiago.”
Sammy sobbed and called himself “an awful human being” as a judged sentenced him last week.
It came after he posed as a financial investor to defraud two vulnerable victims, 80 and 90, out of their hard-earned cash.
Sleazy Sammy, a stockbroker and amateur football player, persuaded Peter Marin and Peter Haynes to allow him to invest their money for them.
His victims were clients at legitimate investment company Equine Global Sports Limited, where Kimmence worked as a senior trader.
The company received money from customers which it would use to place bets on horse races, on their behalf.
But Portsmouth Crown Court heard Kimmence took the clients on when the business went into liquidation, falsely claiming he was authorised to provide financial services.
