EASTENDERS fans are in shock after Scarlett Butcher confronted her mum Janine over Linda Carter’s crash.
The youngster worked out that her mum had something to do with Linda’s accident – forcing Janine to manipulate her into keeping quiet.
“I think you had something to do with Linda crashing her car,” said Scarlett.
“You’ve been acting weird ever since. You weren’t answering your phone and I called you a million times.
“So show me the tickets for ice skating. What if I go ask Sonia and see what she thinks?”
As Scarlett walked off, Janine had no choice but the act.

She took her outside and tried to manipulate her daughter.
“The truth is I was in the car when it crashed,” she said.
“There was another woman there and she called an ambulance and there was nothing more I could do to help. It was an accident Scarlett.”
But Scarlett takes after her mum and realised quickly that her mum was lying.
“Were you driving?” she said as Janine was forced to step up her manipulation of her own daughter.
Janine told her: “Whatever I do, I do for us. So that we can be a family, a family I didn’t have when I was growing up.
“Mick could love us, Scarlett, he could be our future but that’s down to you.”
Viewers were disgusted with Janine for treating Scarlett like this.
One wrote: “How desperate is Janine? Surely she can’t get away with this. How could she treat her own daughter like that?”
