EASTENDERS fans are in shock after realising there are TEN killers wandering around Walford.

The residents of Albert Square should watch their backs as there are three serial killers and seven others with blood on their hands living amongst them.

Tina Carter is the most recent murder victim

One shocked fan said: “You wouldn’t normally have that many nutters living on the same street.”

However another insisted that justice has been served in most of the cases.

“I wouldn’t say its ludicrous,” the fan wrote.

“Out of the actual murderers all four have served prison sentences, Martin also served his sentence for accidental death and Whitney was found not guilty as it was self defence.”

But who are the ten killers in the Square?

Stacey killed rapist Archie Mitchell

Stacey Slater

Villain Archie Mitchell met his end at the hands of Stacey Slater in 2009 after he brutally raped her.

Left devastated by his evil actions, Stacey realised she needed to stop him from hurting anyone else and promptly bashed his head in with the bust of Queen Victoria.

Her attempts to escape justice for the killing saw her husband Bradley die during a police hunt, and left Stacey with no other option than to flee abroad.

She later returned and was eventually found not guilty on grounds of diminished responsibility.

A decade later she almost finished Phil Mitchell off by hitting him over the head with a wrench to save husband Martin’s life, before fleeing again.

Hardman Phil has only killed one person despite repeated attempts

Phil Mitchell

Of all the people in Walford expected to be a cold blooded murderer – Phil Mitchell would be at the top of that list.

But despite dishing out thousands of beatings over the years and threatening to kill everyone from Kat Slater to his own son, Phil has never actually managed to finish the job.

Most recently he tried to kill Ian Beale under Sharon’s instructions but failed at all three attempts.

But it was in 1994 when Phil claimed his only life – accidentally setting fire to a homeless boy in an insurance job.

He was then involved in the deaths of his wife Stella Owen, Sharon’s husband Dennis Rickman, Steve Owen and Kevin Wicks, but he didn’t pull the trigger on any of them himself.

Max tried to kill Ian multiple times

Max Branning

Max has been one of Walford’s longest-serving villains but it took him more than a decade to kill someone.

Beginning his Albert Square experience as a philanderer with a penchant for his son’s wife, Max turned dark after being framed for lover Lucy Beale’s murder.

He vowed revenge on Walford for letting him go to prison and set about a dastardly – and seemingly endless – payback scheme to take everything from them.

And in Ian Beale’s case he almost succeeded literally – choking the life out of him to the point of death.

Ian survived but his son Steven didn’t. He perished when Max attacked him during the restaurant fire designed to kill Jane Beale.

Lucas claimed the lives of at least five people – and was released from prison despite this

Lucas Johnson

Walford’s most prolific serial killer recently returned to the Square after being inexplicably released from prison despite murdering at least five people.

He also framed his ex-wife Denise Fox for the killings while keeping her chained up in a dingy basement.

Now he’s back and is claiming to be reformed, but it’s clear that Lucas’ desire to kill is still within him.

Gray murdered his wife Chantelle after years of abuse

Gray Atkins

The newest killer in Walford is evil abuser Gray Atkins.

To the world outside he is a mild-mannered but high-powered lawyer in a fitted suit who would do anything for anybody.

But behind closed doors he was a brutal tyrant who abused wife Chantelle for years before pushing her onto an upturned knife in the dishwasher and watched coldly as she died before framing it as an accident.

And when Tina Carter discovered what he’d done he wasted no time in killing her and making it look like she’s fled Walford.

Now he’s got his sights on Whitney Dean, but she’s no stranger to a killing herself so who will come out on top?

Ben Mitchell killed Big Hev when he was still a child

Ben Mitchell

Once upon a time Ben Mitchell was a dance-loving happy go lucky boy loving life in Walford…

And the next he was beating Heather Trott to death with a picture frame and covering up the murder.

Eventually his guilt got the better of him and he confessed and was sent to prison.

For a while it seemed like he had reformed, but then he tried to have Billy Mitchell killed and it is clear that Ben’s killer instinct is still there.

Bobby killed his sister Lucy – and then tried to murder his own mum

Bobby Beale

In one of EastEnders’ most controversial ever storylines schoolboy Bobby was unmasked as his sister Lucy’s killer.

He had hit her and unknowingly killed her, leaving his mum Jane to cover up the crime and frame Max Branning.

He was finally brought to justice after attacking his adopted mum Jane Beale and leaving her disabled and in need of a wheelchair.

Whitney killed her stalker Leo King

Whitney Dean

Viewers watched in shock last year as Whitney fought for her life against stalker Leo King.

The two fought in the house before Whitney plunged a knife into his chest.

Despite trying to cover up the crime, it took Whitney a matter of hours to crack and to confess to the police.

She spent months behind bars before serial killer Gray Atkins won her freedom in court.

Martin killed his best friend Jamie Mitchell

Martin Fowler

The fruit and veg flogger has never been a natural born killer – despite what being raised by battleaxe Pauline Fowler would do to a person.

But on Christmas Day 2002 that’s exactly what he became, accidentally at least, when he ran over his best friend Jamie Mitchell.

Jamie’s death has haunted Martin ever since – so much so that he suffered with memories of that night last year when he was involved in another hit and run.

Dot killed her son Nick by supplying him with drugs and then watching him die

Dot Branning

It’s always the quiet ones and Dot has proved to be the deadliest of the Cotton family tree by claiming the lives of two people.

First she helped her best friend Ethel end her life in 2000 – and it clearly gave her a taste for blood.

She had to wait another 15 years until she got the chance again when her drug addict son Nick Cotton begged her for help.

Ignoring his pleas, she watched as he took his final breath in her arms after taking the drugs she had bought for him.
