EASTENDERS star Jamie Borthwick sent fans swooning with an adorable throwback showing him singing at school.
The actor, who plays Jay Brown in the BBC One soap, was seen belting out The Sound Of Music track So Long, Farewell, as he stood proud as punch at the front of the pack.
Jamie was beaming as he showed off his vocals in the track from the 1959 musical.
The soap star, watching the scenes at home, filmed them for his Instagram Stories page and could be heard giggling in the background as he zoomed the camera onto his face.
He then quizzed: “Wonder whatever happened to him?” as he joked about his future.
When it came to the final high note, it was left to schoolboy Jamie to deliver it perfectly in tune.
Adding his commentary, the Barking-born star told his younger self: “Go on kid, all on your own.
He attended the famous Sylvia Young Theatre School in London which his EastEnders co-star Lacey Turner also went to, yet his stage stopping performance was from his earlier days.
The 26-year-old wrote on the caption to his Stories: “Anyone who went to Beam Primary remember this?” followed by two laughing Emoji faces.
Jamie has played Jay Brown in EastEnders since 2006.
He was just 12 years old when Jay arrived in Walford as the son of Jason Dyer.
He was an orphan at the age of 14 before being taken in by the Mitchell clan and becoming an honorary Mitchell and brother to Ben.
Jamie previously revealed he is related to co-star Charlie Winter – but only found out when he joined the cast.
