EASTENDERS star Jessie Wallace is showing off a new tattoo of Elvis – but it looks just like her onscreen husband Shane Richie.

Kat Slater fell head over heels for cheeky Alfie Moon on the BBC Soap and now Jessie’s new inking bears an uncanny resemblance to him.

The large tattoo is on her left forearm and shows The King wearing his classic quiff – a hairstyle Alfie also favoured.

The 48-year-old actress popped to her local corner shop in north London to buy groceries wearing her protective mask.

She was casual in black and grey gym wear and finished her look with a bright blue pair of designer Chanel sunglasses.

Jessie carried a shopping bag with Domestos cleaner, bottled water and a bottle of Gordon’s gin.

Kat and Alfie Moon were very happy together

It was revealed in January that Jessie had been suspended from EastEnders after allegedly drinking on set.

Bosses held a crisis meeting and decided to axe her from the soap for two months so she could “sort herself out”.

Her axe from the soap came just weeks after HOAR exclusively revealed Jessie had split with greengrocer boyfriend Paul Keepin after two years.

The pair broke up just before Christmas and a source said at the time: “She is moving on and wants the New Year to be a fresh start when she will focus on work.”

But her party lifestyle has landed her in trouble. In the mid-2000s she was exposed for using the drug ketamine.

She was suspended from the show for bad behaviour and threatened with the axe.
