EASTENDERS’ Kacey Ainsworth looked miles away from Little Mo as she showed off her blonde hairdo.

The 51-year-old actress played the downtrodden character between 2000 and 2006.

But the star couldn’t have looked more different to Mo as she attended the Autism Hero Awards in London last night.

Kacey’s short blonde hair was chic and stylish, with the star looking trendy in a black top with zip-up detailing and attention-grabbing striped glittery trousers.

She showed off her trim figure in the fashionable outfit, which she accessorised with simple gold hoop earrings and subtle make-up.

The actress was keen to show her support at the swanky event, which honoured those with Autism and their support network.

Her character was involved in a harrowing domestic abuse storyline

In January, Kacey revealed that she was temporarily giving up acting after her 11-year-old son Elwood was diagnosed with the condition aged six.

The star is also mum to 15-year-old Blossom with partner Darren Hales.

Kacey shot to fame in the noughties as long-suffering Little Mo in EastEnders, with the character at the centre of a harrowing domestic abuse storyline with husband Trevor [Alex Ferns].

The role saw her win the 2002 National Television Award for Most Popular Actress and she twice won the British Soap Award for Best Actress.

She briefly found love with Billy before leaving the square

Mo famously attacked her husband with an iron – facing prison for attempted murder before being released without charge.

Trevor died in a fire in 2002, with Mo going on to briefly find love with Billy Mitchell.

Kacey quit the show in 2006 to pursue other projects, and previously ruled out returning to Walford – even though much of her onscreen family have returned to the square in recent months.
