EASTENDERS’ Lorraine Stanley couldn’t look more different to her character on the soap as she dazzled in an electric blue co-ord.

The actress, who plays Karen Taylor, posed beside her nephew after they were invited to meet the players at Portmouth FC.

Lorraine took her nephew to Portsmouth FC to meet the players

Dressed in the club’s colour to for the occasion, Lorraine looked incredible in a pair of loose-fitting blue linen trousers.

She added a short-sleeved top in the same colour and slipped into a pair of wedge sandals.

Unlike her lovable character whose hair is usually in an unkempt bun, Lorraine’s blonde locks were smooth and sat just below her collarbones.

She appeared to have caught a tan, showing a healthy glow under a natural palette of make up.

“Honoured to be a guest at Pompey football club! I’m taking my Nephew Buddy who’s football mad,he’s so excited to meet the players,” she wrote in the caption.

She also shared snaps from the guest box at the club, where she and her nephew posed with the players.

“Love your outfit!!! That colour really suits you xx” one fan wrote.

“Love your outfit Lorraine, where is it from? Enjoy your day,” another chimed.

A third said: “Aw @lorraine_stanley_ you look gorgeous blues so you x”

Sharing photos of her and the players, she wrote: “Thankyou @pompey for inviting us to the game and treating us like royalty! We had the best day, thankyou to the players for the meet & greet.”

Lorraine has been on the soap since 2017 as the no-nonsense, cigarette puffing, heart of gold Karen.

She arrived on Albert Square with her children and dog Bronson and has become a fan favourite.

Before joining EastEnders she played Pearl Wisdom from the first ever episode of Call the Midwife.

She has also been on EastEnders before as Big Mo Harris in a flashback episode back in 2004 and as Thelma Bragg for a short stint in 2016.

Lorraine has also worked in films, including London to Brighton, Made in Dagenham, Tom Hardy’s Legend where she starred as a barmaid in the famous Blind Beggar pub.
