AS he continues to struggle with his rape trauma, Ben Mitchell finds a friend in the form of Kheerat Panesar.
But their bond takes a turn as Jags’ death story will be revisited in EastEnders tomorrow evening.

After his own mother Suki went above and beyond to get him thrown behind bars, Jags Panesar got on the wrong side of a prison gang.
With his life in danger, the character was promised protection – until Ben Mitchell called it off once he caught Kheerat Panesar with Sharon Watts.
Since Jags’ death, his family has had no idea the troublemaker played by Max Bowden has had a role to play in the tragedy.
Kheerat Panesar (portrayed by Jaz Deol) has thus been helping him as he finds it hard to live a normal life after being raped by Lewis Butler.
The businessman, who has been known to reach out to those in need from Chantelle Atkins to Chelsea Fox, has given Ben a shoulder to lean on, although he does not know about his ordeal.
This included taking him to his family home after a night in Peggy’s.
Kheerat decides to take Ben home as he realises he is high in the new local wine bar.
As BBC One viewers may know, Ben resorted to taking drugs to try and cope with his traumatic memories.
But while Kheerat talks to Ben about their friendship, asking his sister Ash to check him out, Ben is overwhelmed with guilt.
He eventually tells the Panesars that he called off Jag’s protection, which led to his death.
Unable to control his rage, Kheerat attacks Ben and strangles him which forces Suki to intervene as quickly as possible.
However, Ben probably won’t be the only one coming clean as Suki also has a secret to tell her children.
As mentioned above, Suki framed Jags for a robbery at Ruby’s and Martin Fowler’s assault.
She did this in a bid to get him away from his then-girlfriend and mother of his son Tyrion, Habiba Ahmed.
Suki didn’t approve of their relationship due to their religious differences.
Will Suki follow Ben’s example and come clean?
