AN EastEnders legend has sent fans wild after dropping a huge clue he could be headed back to the BBC soap opera.
Dean Gaffney, 44, rose to fame in his role as Robbie Jackson on EastEnders after first appearing on the show for 10 years from 1993.

He had a series of guest stints on the show before appearing regularly once again between 2017 and 2019 and has now sparked speculation that he could be back once again.
Dean headed out for a spot of lunch with his former co-stars Natalie Cassidy and Jamie Borthwick.
Sonia Fowler actress Natalie shared an image of the trio to her Instagram.
Dean kept his arm around Natalie as Jamie pulled a funny face for the heart-warming selfie.
Natalie admitted that she almost ‘wet’ herself from laughter during the reunion lunch.
She captioned the post: “When you have the January blues the only thing to do is have lunch with these pair. Laughed so much I nearly wet myself. Love you both @jamie_b10 @deangaffney1

The picture sent fans wild as they speculated whether Dean was undertaking his role as Robbie once again and pleaded with BBC bosses to bring him back.
