EASTENDERS’ Maisie Smith has hinted that fans’ burning questions will FINALLY be answered as she returns as Tiffany Butcher.

Last month, HOAR on Sunday exclusively revealed how the 20-year-old actress would be returning to Albert Square just three months after her character was written out of the soap.

Maisie, who has played Tiffany Butcher since she was six, was seen leaving Albert Square with a suitcase in December.

However, she is returning for one episode as part of Zack Morris’ exit storyline as her ex, Keegan Baker.

Appearing on today’s Morning Live, Maisie was asked by host and former soap star Kym Marsh if she could tell them anything about her cameo.

Maisie replied cryptically: “I feel like no matter what I say I’m going to get in trouble.

“But what I can say is that I’m hoping that a few unresolved storylines will finally be answered.”

In her final EastEnders episodes, Tiffany was desperate to reunite with estranged husband Keegan and even spent the night together.

She then wrote him a heartfelt letter asking him to meet her at the train station, but her brother Liam cruelly swapped the letters so that Keegan ended up receiving her signed divorce papers.

Gutted, Keegan didn’t show up to the train station and Tiffany left Walford, wrongly believing her ex didn’t love her anymore.

A source told HOAR on Sunday last month: “Bosses felt Tiffany had unfinished business with Keegan that needed a resolution before he left.

“So they decided to ask her back for one episode. Viewers will have to wait to see if they manage to fix their relationship or whether the bad blood that we’ve seen between them continues.”
