EASTENDERS’ Mick Carter will suffer a terrifying panic attack on Christmas Day after wife Linda goes missing.

The Queen Vic landlord – who is played by actor Danny Dyer in the BBC soap – is desperate to give his family a good Christmas despite Linda’s spiralling drinking problem.

Mick suffers a terrifying panic attack on Christmas Day

She promises to cut back her drinking in the New Year, however it lasts less than a day.

During the Ball and Change winners dinner Linda once again gets drunk after becoming embarrassed when she is the only one dressed up as Mrs Claus.

The dinner ends in disaster when a loose-lipped Linda fires barbs at Ruby forcing Mick to take drastic action and pour her wine down the sink in front of her.

She will explode at Mick’s actions and lose control of herself – screaming at her husband about what he’s done to her.

Lee panics when Mick collapses in front of him

Only when she sees her young son Ollie has witnessed her outburst does she stop, but grabbing a bottle she heads out into the Square gardens to continue drinking and cope with her shame.

And the next day with Mick struggling to hold things together, the pressure proves too much for him.

He suffers a terrifying panic attack that leaves his mum Shirley and son Lee shocked.

Meanwhile Linda is unaware that Mick has arranged for her son Lee to visit for a Christmas surprise.

Unfortunately her reunion with her son has to wait as Linda hits rock bottom and disappears, leaving the Carters worried and Mick in particular horrified as his panic attacks return.
