TRAGEDY strikes in Albert Square next week when Denzel Danes pushes boundaries even further.
The lad’s life hangs in the balance after a horrific car crash in upcoming scenes of EastEnders.
Denzel Danes is thrown back in the spotlight next week
He organises a party behind his father Howie and Kim’s back
But a tragic event soon occurs
Much like any youngster his age, Denzel (portrayed by Jaden Ladega) tests his limits with his father Howie Danes (Delroy Atkinson).
Such is the case next week on BBC One when he secretly hosts a party while Howie and Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) attend an awards do where the latter receives and award for “Influencer of the Moment” award.
Kim even gets a prize of a brand new car to go with her new title.
Back in the Square, she’s delighted and celebrates the big event but both her and Howie are quickly distracted by Denzel’s party.
Disappointed, Howie and Kim quickly shut everything down and Denzel is scolded for his actions.
However, Kim is too distracted by her win and she soon offers to take him for a spin in her brand new car but things don’t go as planned.
Denzel and Kim are involved in a devastating car crash and she wakes up to find the teen unconscious.
Mitch Baker (Roger Griffiths) spots them and quickly jumps into action by calling an ambulance.
With the help of emergency services, Kim gets free but Denzel is trapped inside.
How will he be saved?
While that remains to be seen, Kim is taken to hospital by her sister Denise Fox (Diane Parish) who tries to comfort her.
Sadly, the sisters are set to be torn apart after the crash – can they come back from it?
In recent months, Denzel has been standing on the side-lines after his relationship with Amy Mitchell led to him being assaulted by her father Jack Branning.
Kim, on the other hand, has been focused on her relationship with Denzel’s father Howie, kept at arm’s length from her sister Denise’s own troubles.
Denise’s marriage with Jack started to hit the rocks when Amy was going through mental health issues and it only got worse when Ricky Jr. found out he was the father of Lily Slater’s baby.
She then found comfort in the form of Ravi Gulati, which quickly backfired on her when he became Jack Branning’s main target.
