EastEnders’ Shona McGarty amazes fans with her incredible singing voice as she reveals hidden talent

EASTENDERS actress Shona McGarty has shocked fans after revealing she can sing as well as act.

Shona, 28, has been keeping herself busy during lockdown by recording TikTok videos with fans and she doesn’t disappoint.

Over the past few days, the soap star has uploaded a couple of clips to her Instagram page and her followers couldn’t quite believe their ears.

In the first video, Shona takes part in a duet with a mystery male and sings ‘Can You Feel The Love Tonight?’ from hit Disney movie The Lion King.

Shona’s 53.1k followers were quick to comment on the clip, with one person writing: “I could listen to this forever 😍👑  What a voice!” while a second added: “That’s stunning. Amazing voices.”

A third fan wrote: “U can sing wow (sic),” clearly meaning they weren’t aware of her hidden talent.

Shona later added another TikTok video which showed her singing a slowed down version of Dua Lipa’s ‘Don’t Start Now’.

Once again, the video was inundated with comments from Shona’s fans who couldn’t believe how great her voice was.

“Wow beautiful voice hunny x,” one wrote, while another told her: “Such a stunning voice ❤.”

And it seems Shona will keep treating fans to more musical clips, as it’s still not sure when the cast of EastEnders will be resume filming following the coronavirus pandemic.

In fact, the BBC soap will go off air in two weeks as bosses run out of episodes.

While Emmerdale has already resumed production, and Coronation Street is set to start next week, EastEnders stars still don’t know when they will return to set.

HOAR Online previously revealed that the BBC One soap will run out of episodes this month, and an insider has now confirmed that the end date is sooner than fans may have hoped.

The source explained: “It’s due to go off air on 16 June. Talks about when the cast are returning to set are ongoing.”

As soon as production halted for EastEnders, bosses cut down its episode broadcasts to just two per week in order to keep the soap on air for as long as possible.
