Sharing a snap of herself with her fellow choir mates from UpMass, she announced that they had “exciting times ahead”.
The actress, 31, didn’t go into any more details, but she frequently delights fans with videos of her performing.
In November last year, she performed at the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance where she wowed audiences with her version of Hallelujah.
Sharing a clip of the video on Instagram, she added the caption: “Such an honour. A truly humbling experience. We will remember them.”
Her friend and co-star, Lacey Turner commented on the video from her performance: “Your talent is endless !!! I love you.”
Adam Woodyatt chimed: “Stunning. Just stunning. You absolutely smashed it.”
Jac Jossa also wasted no time in sharing her admiration for her friend by posting two clapping hand emojis.
Shona has played Whitney Dean, Bianca Jackson’s adoptive daughter, in the soap for nearly 15 years.
The actress is focusing on her career after she and Max Bowden split up earlier last year.
Max, who plays Ben Mitchell in the soap, and Shona decided to go separate ways after he became a dad with his ex girlfriend.
A source said: “There has been a lot going on in Max’s life and things were just getting too complicated with Shona being involved.
“Max will always have a lot of love and respect for Shona but it’s just not the right time.
