ARRESTED in dramatic scenes after discovering Tina Carter’s remains, Phil Mitchell fears for his safety.
But the EastEnders baddie won’t be getting any help from his son as Ben Mitchell makes a tough decision next week.
After almost two years, Tina’s body was found under the floorboards of the Argee Bhajee with the help of Phil (played by Steve McFadden), who was standing up to his stepson’s bullies before making the macabre discovery.
Since then, the Walford tough man was brought into police custody and remains behind bars as he faced a hard choice between life in prison and freedom as an informant.
Phil was perhaps hoping to get help from his son Ben (Max Bowden) with whom he shares a rocky relationship.

However, upcoming scenes of the BBC One soap show Ben unwilling to go along his father’s way after he was pulled away from the family business.
EastEnders viewers remember Phil first wanted his former wife Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) to take charge of his empire before turning to his fiancée Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace).
When Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) realises Ben has failed to give her this month’s money for their daughter Lexi and confronts him about it, Ben appears to come to the conclusion his priorities need a review.
Ben pays a visit to Kat, telling her she needs to sign a package and stash it for his father Phil.
Although she is initially reluctant, Kat agrees after some persistence from Ben who asserts that this is her problem now.
Ben is reminded that he should be focusing on his life instead of being a crutch for Phil when Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) comments to him that The Arches hasn’t been opening on time.
The businesswoman suggests that Ben should focus on making money.
Yet as Ben finds his mark without his criminal father in the way, he can’t escape Kat’s wrath as she is ready to give him a piece of her mind.
The owner of Kat’s Cabs – who also has to deal with her own son Tommy acting out – accuses Ben of not being there for his father.
