SIX years after her last appearance in the Square, Sam Mitchell gets back to her roots next week.
But her nephew Ben Mitchell is far from happy to see her and there’s more family drama ahead in EastEnders.
Kim Medcalf is coming back to Walford as she reprises her role in the long-running drama.
Back in 2016, Danniella Westbrook had slipped into the skin of Phil and Grant’s younger sister for Peggy Mitchell’s funeral.
Next week, Sam ruffles Sharon Watts (played by Letitia Dean) and Kat Slater’s (Jessie Wallace) feathers as she returns to Albert Square.
She remains tight-lipped about the reasons for her return but assures an alarmed Jack Branning that she’ll only be visiting briefly.

But the reasons for her return are soon revealed.
While Kat, Sharon and Jack have every reason to dread Sam’s return, her comeback infuriates her nephew Ben (Max Bowden).
Ben discovers what Sam really is up to while her brother Phil (Steve McFadden) remains in prison, and fears he may be pushed even further away from his father’s empire.
Little does he know that Sam secretly worries she is not up to the task that was given to her prior to her arrival in Walford.
Meanwhile, Sharon grows increasingly worried and enlists Kat’s help – but what could they be planning?
Although he may refuse it, Ben could use all the help he needs as he fails to cope with the trauma he was left with after seeing his husband Callum get beaten.
As a result, while his loved one believe him to be psychologically fragile, Ben has started to act out and unleash his anger at people showing off homophobic behaviour and tendencies.
Ben is already responsible for one murder in the Square as his temper got the best of him.
He appeared determined to steer away from the wrong side of the law since.
But could his violent streak land him into more trouble, much like his father Phil?
