EASTENDERS’ star Ben sparks concern in upcoming episodes after his horrifying rape, leading Kathy to learn the truth.
As we head into June Ben will still be suffering in silence, but it’s not long before this sparks concern from those around him.
Kathy begins to grow frustrated with Ben’s behaviour, but Kheerat sees the situation slightly differently and can’t help but become worried as well.
After Kheerat shares his concerns with Kathy she is left reeling from a devastating discovery.
Speaking to DigitalSpy, Max Bowden, who plays Ben said: “It becomes more and more apparent that something’s not right.
“With Kathy, there’s obviously that commonality and the fact that she was raped by James Wilmott-Brown. There’s also a brotherhood with Jay, who can see through the mask as well.
“The people who know him best star to see something’s not quite right.
“I think Kathy will be very important. There’s been a kind of missing link for a while with Ben and Kathy, as there’s been so much emphasis on the relationship between Ben and Phil for years that we’ve missed a lot of the Ben and Kathy elements that keep them fresh.”
