EASTENDERS has released its first spoilers for the soap’s explosive return week – and Ian Beale is in for a shock.
The first spoilers information revealed shows how Dotty Cotton will “burst Ian Beale and Sharon Watt’s lockdown bubble” in the very first week.
Viewers know how Dotty is the only person who knows that Ian is partially responsible for Sharon’s son Dennis’ death on the boat crash, but has instead acted like a hero.
And now it seems like after months of holding back the secret, she could be about to tell everyone what she knows.
The first episode’s synopsis reveals: “Lockdown in the Queen Vic has been bliss for Ian and Sharon – until Dotty decides to burst their bubble.
“Callum fears Ben’s crimes have caught up with them, Ruby faces serious financial problems, and Linda and Mick look to build a new life away from the pub.”
The second adds: “Vinny and Ruby realise that they share an urgent goal, while Kathy worries that Ian has got himself in too deep.”
Later in the week “Mick will be determined to get back on track,” while “Chantelle puts her plan into action and Callum demands the truth”.
The final episode of the week with the new shortened 20 minute runtimes will see Suki Panesar having to swoop in to save her family at a cost.
And Ben Mitchell will panic as his past comes back to haunt him.
EastEnders returns to BBC One on September 7 at 8pm.
