EASTENDERS fans are saying the same thing about newly recast Amy Mitchell – saying she’s the “spitting image” of her on-screen mum.
The daughter of the late Roxy Mitchell and Jack Branning was totally transformed as she made a shock appearance on EastEnders last night.
Silent Witness star Ellie Dadd has taken over the role – and she made her debut in Monday’s episode – and left fans in awe.
Fans took to social media to applaud the soap’s casting choice and spotted the likeness between her and her on-screen mum.
One avid viewer wrote: “Casting of Amy is perfect as Roxy’s daughter”, while another chimed: “New Amy properly has Roxy’s little scowl”.
Meanwhile another posted: “The new Amy is already so good! Great actress and she really does like Roxy’s daughter.”
