KAT Slater is ready to tie the knot again with another one of Walford’s biggest names, Phil Mitchell.
But in true EastEnders fashion, she’s shocked when her former husband Alfie Moon shows up in the Square.
Kat Slater is ready to marry Phil Mitchell next week
Alfie Moon returns to the Square and knocks on her door
Soon, Kat and Alfie’s twins create mischief
And Alfie tries to convince Kat she’s making a mistake by marrying Phil
After jumping through multiple hurdles, including a stay in prison for his involvement in Vincent Hubbard’s death, Phil is finally free and ready to marry Kat Slater.
However, while he gets ready to do so, the owner of Kat’s Cabs portrayed by Jessie Wallace, gets a surprise when Alfie Moon comes to her doorstep.
Actor Shane Richie is reprising his role in upcoming scenes of the BBC One soap – but what does his on-screen alter ego want?
Kat is less than happy to see her ex husband and his intentions become clear quickly as he begs her to reconsider marrying Phil.
Fuming, she puts him in his place but Phil can’t help but get involved.
But as he tries to square up to Alfie, Kat assures Phil she will meet him at the altar, encouraging him to leave her to it.
Alfie tries his luck again but Kat forces him to go.
However, things take a turn when he comes back to his canal boat and finds his twin sons, Bert and Ernie, who snuck in his van.
As Kat reels to Stacey, she gets a call from Alfie forcing her to come and fetch the kids, thus making her late to her own wedding.
Once she arrives, the twins refuse to get off the boat and all hell breaks loose.
For the third time, Alfie does all he can to convince Kat that marrying Phil is a mistake – will she eventually agree with him?
Unfortunately for Kat, Alfie won’t be the only ex coming out of the woodwork.
After confessing her feelings for him (and locking lips with him behind Kat’s back) Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) is ready to get Phil back.
Next week, she goes above and beyond to show him they can still make their marriage work, despite their chequered past.
Will Kat and Phil turn on each other or get married?
