Honey returned to the Square in September after some time out to overcome her eating disorder brought on by her ex Adam’s affair with Habiba.
Honey finally confronted Adam about his cheating ways back in December 2019, outing him on stage before dumping him and chucking him out.
But it seems her bad luck isn’t over as next week’s episodes of EastEnders will see Honey meet DC Ward for an update on her case after her date with Paul took a sinister turn the week before.
When Billy spots her, Jay is forced to go against Honey’s wishes and tell him that her date Paul has been arrested.
When Honey later tells Billy that Paul has since been released on bail, Billy is fuming and disappears.
Later, Jay worries about Billy and is horrified when he finds him about to beat up Paul with a brick.
Will Jay be able to calm Billy down?
Later in the week, Honey has another meeting with DI Ward.
Jay goes along for support and is amazed by Honey’s strength.
Later, Jay tells Lola they’ll have to pause their discussion on flats as he has to check on Honey.
Speaking ahead of her return to EastEnders, actress Emma Barton revealed that she wants Honey and Billy to get back together.
Talking to Radio Times, Emma revealed: “I’m not going to lie, speaking as Emma I do think Honey and Billy belong together.
“They write so brilliantly and truthfully for them so it’s not like they will just simply pick up, there is always a journey with those characters and I love that. Let’s see where her and Billy’s relationship goes…”
